... actually a double ACEO
Hi, everyone! How are you? I was pretty busy recently, but I'm surprised, I've tried my new markers. I have bought only five colors for a test ( Kuretake ZIG Art & Graphic TWIN), and I have three Letraset TRIA Pantone markers. So I also used watercolors and watercolor pencils.
So, instead of regular "Step-by-step", I'll write about my first impressions about ZIGs, a kind of review.
Вместо обычного пояснения к пошаговым иллюстрациям, я напишу о первых впечатлениях о маркерах ZIG, своеобразный обзор.
First of all, water-based ZIGs mix perfectly with alcohol-based TRIAs... on general thick drawing paper, unlike TRIAs and water-based Centropens on watercolor paper.
Во-первых, ZIG на водной основе прекрасно смешиваются со спиртовыми TRIA... на бумаге для черчения, в отличии от Centropen (водная основа) и TRIA на акварельной бумаге.
Then, I like the silicon nib (I think it's some silicon-based material, or maybe rubber), it's pretty comfortable to use, and they're reliable.
Силиконовый (или резиновый) кончик-кисточка - просто супер: удобен, надежен.
Compared to TRIAs (you can see on the picture) they give a less smooth blending, but it's still fine.Centropens basically give zero blending/transparency effect.
Если сравнивать с TRIA, то эфект прозрачночти и смешивания не такой ровный и гладкий, но вполне ничего, у Centropen этот показатель стремится к нулю (что видно на картинке).
While mixing colors, paper got wet very quickly, and mixing caused paper damage... so you should wait before it dries before applying third layer of color.
При смешивании бумага быстро намокала и повреждалась, поэтому совет - перед нанесеием третьего слоя лучше немного подаждать, пока бумага не подсохнет.
One thing that I didn't like completely is that actual colors and colors on the caps didn't match. *due to lighting it's not that obvious on photo* Also this series has quite few colors available,
Абсолютно не понравилось, что цвет на колпачке и цвет чернил не совпадают... вообще. Забавно, что освещение на фото скрыло этот эфект.
To sum it up: ZIGs are nice first markers, they're twice cheaper than Copics, and the nib is really cool and fun to use. Small palette is disappointing. But it's pretty unfair to compare water-based and alcohol-based markers, and it's weird to demand the same behaviour from them. Anyway, Kuretake also have alcohol based marker with wider palette.
Резюмируя написанное выше, ZIG - отличные "первые" маркеры, силиконовая (резиновая) пишущая кисточка - просто очаровательна. Хотелось бы больший выбор цветов. Что касается свойств маркеров (скорость высыхания, ровность смешивания) - сравнивать с спиртовыми маркерами бессмысленно.

Всем привет! Хоть и рабочая неделя выдалась насыщенной, нашла время попробовать новыемаркеры Kuretake ZIG Art & Graphic TWIN, которых я прикупила целых пять штук. А еще у меня есть три цвета маркером Letraset TRIA Pantone. Поэтому, обойтись только маркерами не удалось - и в ход пошли акварельки и акварельные карандашики.
